The 6th FEMIP Conference offers the occasion to follow up on the Ministerial Conference on Water held in Amman on 22 December 2008 and thus to contribute to the further development of the Mediterranean Water Strategy in the framework of the Union for the Mediterranean.
The conference will address the theme of sustainable water financing, examine the role of pricing in order to attract investments and draw lessons for the Mediterranean region. It will analyse water scarcity and climate change, explore possible solutions to existing challenges in the region and envisage a framework for improving water efficiency.
