FEMIP is the key player in the economic and financial partnership between Europe and the Mediterranean, providing almost EUR 6 billion of financing between October 2002 and December 2006.

EIB financing in Egypt is spread amongst the key sectors of energy, environment, industry, transport and support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
