As JESSICA is a relatively recent initiative launched in 2007, the wealth of practical implementation experiences regarding JESSICA-based urban regeneration instruments is still limited.

However, and although not building up on JESSICA-specific requirements and regulatory provisions, below listed case studies are considered appropriate best-practice examples, reflecting innovative approaches in the financing and implementation of integrated urban development projects as promoted by the EU`s JESSICA initiative.
