The EIB has typically issued around 80-85% of its annual funding programme in its core currencies, which are EUR, USD and GBP.
The remainder is issued in a very wide range of other currencies internationally. Currency-specific fact sheets and a 'currency diversification' fact sheet are available under 'Related publications'.
In the five years 2003-07 the EIB has issued in 35 currencies from all over the world, including several in synthetic format.
