EPOS II - The "Climate Awareness Bond" Pan-EU public offering extended

The European Investment Bank (EIB), the Bank promoting European objectives, owned by the EU Member States and rated Aaa/AAA/AAA (Moody’s/Standard and Poor’s/Fitch), currently marketing a new EUR bond that combines innovative features focused on climate protection has decided to extend the public offering period by one week. The public offering now runs until 29.06.2007, in order to satisfy ongoing retail demand. Consequently, the pricing and settlement dates for the transaction are also changed, with the new dates now set to be 02.07.2007 and 05.07.2007 respectively. Lead managers of the transaction are Dresdner Kleinwort, Merrill Lynch International and UniCredit Markets & Investment Banking.
