Europe’s cities are the places where the goals of greater prosperity, environmental sustainability and economic dynamism converge. Without these urban communities to attract and sustain a diversity of skills and talent, there can be no knowledge economy and no centres of innovation. If Europe is serious about becoming the world’s most dynamic and competitive economy, its cities must become sustainable and be able to provide first class infrastructure and unsurpassed living standards for their citizens.
The EIB Forum 2009 is an agenda-setting event for those who wish to take part in the debate on how to enable greater mobility and build sustainable communities across Europe.
