Publications
The EIB Papers present the results of research carried out by EIB staff together with contributions from external scholars and specialists. The aim is to encourage high-quality economic research as well as a broader debate on matters of a European interest. As such the Papers are intended to be accessible to non-specialist readers and emphasise policy dimensions rather than technical issues. The Papers are published twice yearly and hard copies can be ordered free of charge from Economic and Financial Studies (EFS). Selected recent volumes are also available electronically on this page. Technical papers that constitute the research used for the Papers -- aiming at a specialist academic audience -- are often available in working paper form in the Economic and Financial Reports.

Economic and Financial Reports
The Economic and Financial Reports are the Economic and Financial Studies (EFS) working paper series containing research on topics related to the operations of the EIB. The Reports are circulated to stimulate discussion and critical comment.
