  • From September 2004: Deputy Director for International Financial Institutions.
    • Spain's relations and policies with Development Banks, i.e. World Bank, IDB, ADB, AfDB, CABEI, CAF;
    • Deputy for Spain at IDA, ADF and AfDF replenishment meetings;
    • Establishment and administration of Carbon Funds and Technical Assistance Funds within those Institutions; Development Cooperation Policy
  • October 1999 - September 2004: Trade Commissioner of Spain in Toronto-Canada.
    • Economic and commercial relations between Canada and Spain;
    • Promotion of investment and trade;
    • Preparation of High Level meetings
  • July 1996 - 1999: Senior Advisor for International Affairs. Cabinet of the Minister of Economy and Finance of Spain, Rodrigo Rato.
