Review of Anti-Fraud Policy and Procedures enters final stage - the last draft
On 1 February 2008, the EIB published the final draft of the "EIB Anti-Fraud Policy and Procedures" for information on its website, together with a draft "Public Consultation Report". The EIB Board of Directors will review/approve the Anti-Fraud Policy and Procedures and consultation report on 11 March 2008, after a first discussion on 13 February.
The "Public Consultation Report" outlines how the consultation process was conducted, which external stakeholder submissions were received, and to what extent these were taken into account (Matrix table). The Report contains a list of formal written stakeholder contributions.
The draft "EIB Anti-Fraud Policy and Procedures" and Public Consultation Report are available in English. After Board approval, the Anti-Fraud Policy and Procedures will be released in all official EU languages.

| 13 September 2007 | Completion of the 45 working days public consultation process (extended from 20 working days to take account of the summer holidays). |
| 17 September 2007 | Public comments from the second round of consultation published, for information, on the EIB website. |
| 29 January 2008 | Approval by the Management Committee of the final Policy and Procedures as well as the Consultation Report. |
| 1 February 2008 | Publication of the draft documents, for information, on the EIB website, 15 working days prior to Board consideration |
| 13 February 2008 | Discussion by the Board of Directors of the new Policy and Procedures and the Consultation Report. |
| 11 March 2008 | Decision by the Board of Directors on the new Policy and Procedures and the Consultation Report. |
